“Le Temps qui passe” (The Passing of Time) is a commissioned work created by French sculptor, Nathalie Decoster. The minimalist geometric form of the artwork conveys the philosophical messages of ‘As time goes by, the man moves forward to the wisdom. With maturity, the man stands back on the secondary aspects in life which invaded us all to refocus on the main part. It is about a fundamental awareness to have a real dimension in life’.
To put sculpture into the limelight and nurture young sculptural artists, Public Art Hong Kong, Hong Kong Arts Centre and MTR Property Development (Shenzhen) Company Limited presented MTR•Tiara Sculpture Competition, to offer emerging artists an opportunity to shine on stage. 9 winning entries were produced in actual size by MTR Property Development (Shenzhen) Company Limited and displayed in MTR•Tiara, a residential development of MTR Property Development (Shenzhen) Company Limited.
